After successfully defending the WWE United Kingdom title in a fatal 4-way match at the ICW Shug’s Hoose Party 4 event in Glasgow, Scotland, Pete Dunne will be making another title defense in two weeks in New York City.
It will be 205 Live’s Jack Gallagher who will be challenging the Bruiserweight at the upcoming PROGRESS Wrestling event which will be held on Saturday, August 12 at the Elmcor in NYC. Dunne’s other title, the PROGRESS championship, will not be on the line.
Gallagher and Dunne already have a WWE history together as Gallagher defeated Dunne in a qualifying match to enter the inaugural Cruiserweight Classic also held at a PROGRESS event.
